Language of Madness

The Language of Madness is not spoken with tongue and throat, but etched upon the soul. It is not a language of words, but of concepts that defy logic, of geometries that warp reality, of emotions so raw they unravel the mind. Those who claim to understand it, like Eamon, The Twisted, are often lost to it, their sanity shattered, their pronouncements dismissed as the ramblings of lunatics. Yet, within those ramblings, within the sketches and equations scrawled in texts like the Chapter of Madness, lie fragments of a truth too terrible for mortal minds to grasp.

It is said that the Language of Madness originates from beyond the Warped Gates, from the Abyss of Umbra, where the laws of physics are mere suggestions and the whispers of the Herald of Emptiness echo through the void. To hear it is to invite the Great Unmaking, to open oneself to the influence of the Null Fields, to risk becoming another Valia, the Empty. The language is tied to the existence of The Cacophony.

Yet, there are those who seek to decipher it, to understand its terrible secrets. The Truthseekers, driven by their insatiable curiosity, delve into the maddening texts, hoping to glean some insight into the nature of reality, all while avoiding The Gaze of the Deep. The Order of the Azure Hand, in their arrogance, believe they can control the Language of Madness, that they can harness its power to achieve enlightenment, but their attempts always end in catastrophe. The Silent Monks of Durin's Peak warn against such hubris, claiming that the Language of Madness is a poison, a corruption that will ultimately consume all who dabble in its depths. Is it possible the Forgotten Smith tried to silence the language? Perhaps it is locked within the Vault of Whispers. If one can learn the Runes of Null, perhaps they can learn to speak and understand. It is the language of the Umbral Behemoth.
