Resonance Gliders

Resonance Gliders are lightweight personal transports, conceived by the Gnomish Tinkers as a means to navigate the strong updrafts and Skystrider Paths of the Iron-Grip Mountains. They are not powered by Aetherium Conduits, as the Tinkers found them too unwieldy, but by expertly shaped wings of treated Gloomfungus hide, which subtly amplify and manipulate the earth’s Auric Resonance.

A skilled glider can ride the thermals for hours, silently soaring above the peaks and valleys. Gliders can reach the floating Cloud Cities of Aerilon, as well as scout for Chitinous Swarm activity, dropping alchemical compounds on their nests.

Unlike the Cobalt Corsairs' cumbersome airships, these gliders are silent and agile, allowing for stealthy reconnaissance and quick escapes. Are you able to use the Resonance Bells of Silence to further dampen noise, or the Runes of Lumina to light the way through a storm? The designs, while ingenious, are notoriously unstable, prone to sudden dives and unexpected stalls. The Forgotten Smith did not want the Tinkers to create such devices, but his advice was ignored. Proper use may require a unique set of Resonance Gloves.
