Runes of Lumina
The Runes of Lumina are not mere glyphs etched in stone; they are living embodiments of light and energy, resonating with the very essence of the Veins of Lumina. Unlike the Runes of Null, which represent emptiness and decay, the Runes of Lumina pulsate with warmth and life, drawing their power from the Auric Resonance that permeates the Glimmering Caverns. These runes are believed to be the key to understanding the secrets of the Crystal Weavers, their intricate patterns mirroring the tapestries of light and shadow that adorn the cavern walls. It is said that the runes were first discovered by the Light Seekers, who sought to harness the power of the Aetherium Fount for benevolent purposes. The knowledge of their creation and use is now lost, but fragments of their teachings remain etched into the cavern walls, waiting to be rediscovered. The Silent Monks of Durin's Peak speak of the runes as a way to purify the mind and body, allowing one to see the world with newfound clarity. Perhaps these Monks could help defend the Sunstone of Aethelgard? The Order of the Azure Hand, on the other hand, views the runes with suspicion, fearing their potential to disrupt their carefully controlled Celestial Alignment Ritual. The Forgotten Smith may have been involved in the creation of the runes, lending his skill and knowledge to the Light Seekers' cause. Archivist Theron has been searching for these runes for decades. His search is cataloged in Chapter of Lost Runes. The Crimson Cartographers have attempted to map the locations where the runes can be found, but their efforts have been hampered by the ever-shifting nature of the caverns. Even the Cobalt Corsairs would think twice about messing with these runes. It may be possible to use the runes to defend against the Chitinous Swarm. Perhaps Valia, the Empty is searching for the power within these runes. The Runes of Return are just a pale imitation of the Runes of Lumina.
