Imagine if you will, caverns already alight with a soft, ethereal glow, now crisscrossed by veins of pure, solidified light, like the skeletal structure of a celestial beast laid bare. This luminescence is not merely reflected, as with the Aetherium Fount, but emanates from within the stone itself, a soft, pulsing radiance that seems to breathe with the very heart of the Iron-Grip Mountains.

The geography surrounding the Veins is treacherous. The rock is unstable, riddled with Null Pockets where the light abruptly ceases, leaving one vulnerable to unseen dangers. The Shadow-Goblins, conversely, avoid the Veins, finding the purity of the light anathema to their shadowed existence. There are whispers that the Veins are connected to The Lost Shrine of Reflections.

Historically, the Veins of Lumina are shrouded in mystery. The Truthseekers may have known of their existence, but if so, the knowledge has been lost to time. It is rumored that the Forgotten Smith attempted to harness their power, seeking to create a light that could banish the darkness of the Null Fields, but failed, leaving behind only shattered tools and cryptic warnings etched into the cavern walls, detailing his discoveries in a Chapter of the Veins. The Crimson Cartographers have made several attempts to map the extent of the Veins, but their efforts have been hampered by the ever-shifting nature of the caverns and the Veins' own inherent instability. Do the veins lead to The Umbral Divide? They might even be connected to the Warped Gates. It is also rumored that one can harness the veins by utilizing the Runes of Lumina. It may be possible that the veins are part of The Great Vein.
