These wells, often found within the Iron-Grip Mountains, are natural formations that act as amplifiers for Auric Resonance, allowing skilled individuals to tap into the earth's energy with relative ease. They are often located near ley lines, some marked by Runes of Lumina, and are sacred spaces for those attuned to the planet's heartbeat, such as the Silent Monks of Durin's Peak.

The geography of a Resonance Well varies depending on its location, but they are often found in deep caverns or secluded mountain valleys. Typically, a central stone or crystalline structure serves as the focus point, amplifying the ambient energy. The surrounding area might be lush with unusual plant life, thriving on the concentrated Auric Resonance, or barren, the raw energy too intense for sustained growth. The placement of the wells may have been created by the Forgotten Smith, or a similar Celestial Smith.

Inhabitants are rare, as the energy is often overwhelming for extended periods. However, some have reported that Stone Spirits of the Deep may frequent these areas, drawn to the powerful vibrations. The most dangerous denizens near the wells are Echo Wraiths, beings of pure sound that are constantly searching for a way to cross over into the physical world. Some Aerilonian Wardens use the wells in the Wind Temples of Aerilon as training grounds to sharpen their innate connection to the skies.

Historically, Resonance Wells have been used for various purposes. The Aerilon Ascendancy likely utilized them to power their flying cities with Aetherium Conduits, while the Truthseekers may have sought enlightenment within their depths. Even today, the Order of the Azure Hand seeks to control these wells, hoping to harness their power for their Celestial Alignment Ritual, but the Deep-Delvers refuse to let these surface dwellers near such sacred locations. It is rumored that those traveling the Skystrider Paths can utilize the wells to regain lost strength. The wells can also be tapped into by the Crimson Cartographers, who can utilize the strength to enhance their map-making and sensing abilities. The wells may be related to The Great Vein, which provides energy to the entirety of the mountains.
