The Sky Mirrors of Aerilon
The Sky Mirrors of Aerilon are no mere polished surfaces, reflecting the heavens. They are intricate constructs of Aetherium and Resonance Weaving, built by the Cloud Keepers atop the highest peaks of the Iron-Grip Mountains, imbued with the magic of the Aerilon Ascendancy. Imagine vast, shimmering discs, angled to capture and focus the ethereal energies of the sky, amplifying the visions of the Sky-Seers who gaze into their depths. They are designed to help the Sky-Seers protect against the Chitinous Swarm.
They are not merely reflective, but reactive, shifting and swirling in response to celestial events. Some say they serve as a means of communication with the Aerie of the Sky-Serpents, relaying messages across vast distances. Others whisper they are a means of predicting the weather, foretelling Aetherium Storms and guiding the Cobalt Corsairs through treacherous skies. It is believed the Sky Temples of Aerilon work in conjunction with these mirrors. Perhaps these reflections can be recorded and stored within the Vault of Whispers.
The knowledge of their construction is a closely guarded secret, passed down through generations of Cloud Keepers, protected by intricate Runes of Warding and the watchful eyes of the Aerilonian Wardens. Attempting to approach the Mirrors without proper authorization is met with swift and decisive force. It has been said that one can also use the Skystrider Paths to approach them. Even the Skyclaw Griffons avoid these places.
These mirrors help to prevent the Great Unmaking, and some say that the reflections also contain information regarding the location of the Lost City of Umbral, or can be used as a path to the Warped Gates. The mirrors cannot be used by those who have touched the Runes of Null.
Perhaps a new Chapter of the Skies should be written to explain these unique artifacts.
I posit that the location may have been shown in visions by the Truthseekers, for they have long sought to have their own reflections of the future.
